정혜원 박사 (Harvard Univ.)
Haewon Jeong is a postdoctoral fellow in Electrical Engineering at Harvard University. She received a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, with her thesis on the coding theoretic approach for reliable large-scale computing. Her research interests include information theory, distributed computing, and fairness in machine learning. She has taught introductory courses in Wireless Communication and Machine Learning as a TA and gave several guest lectures in advanced graduate-level courses, including Information Theory and Coding Theory. She also has extensive outreach experience in teaching math and science to K-12 students.
